I have been a teacher for the last 25 years and founded a non profit organization in August of 2022 which has led me to Epic Electronic Emporium. My goal is to fill a niche with the rapidly growing AI, robotics and technology in general to educate and usher in the inevitable Meta Verse changes in the job market and in careers and how we earn a living will soon be those who learn and grow with technology and those who are not employed or earning a living. Universities are beginning to shift toward new AI, but our public-school system is struggling to make the much-needed changes for our students to transition into the type of work life we a no doubt heading toward. the system was created to train our youth to a physical location, do a specific job, follow a set schedule for 8 hours. The employability skills of showing up on time and punching a time clock and compartmentalizing how they are at work and how they are in their free time are not going to serve them well in the Meta Versa AI reality they are going to be pushed into after graduation. I hope to use my non-profit and its electronic store to expose and educate the underserved population using my skills from 19 years of working at Job Corps to provide learning opportunities and exposure. My first goal is to set up free community classes for youth who are naturally interested in drones depending on their desire, skills set, and age, the JWB Memorial Foundation, Corp. in conjunction with Epic Electonic Emporium would sponsor and conduct a free class for those who are eligible to prepare them to take the FFA part 107 test for certification unmanned aircraft pilot license. I am not a drone flyer myself, in fact I purchased a cheap drone a month ago and flew it outside for the first time today. I defiantly will not be a pro any time soon. My skill as a teacher is my passion. I can teach the material and provide the practice time but am not an expert by any means and would love any input, guidance, advice, or volunteers to do and demonstrate the drone pilot skills that I am lacking, I also want to give a class for any drone flyer under 16 to educate them on the rules and guidelines regarding recreational drone flying. I am lacking in knowledge but do know how to gather the create the learning environment if I did not have to reinvent the wheel. Really just need someone to guide or advise me as I go through the first of each class, then I would be able to refine it for the next time on my own.
